Flying in Style

Suitcase in one hand, Starbucks in the other. Let's fly!

Just because most of your time while flying consists of sitting in a tight space on a cramped airplane, doesn't mean you can't be stylish when you arrive to your final destination! The party starts the second those wheels hit the ground. Whether you're going on vacay, a business trip, or just traveling home, you can always look chic at the airport, while being super comfy as well.

As I write this post, I am traveling to Lake Tahoe, CA for a wedding. My go-to airport outfit is leggings, easy/comfortable shoes, a cute tee, and a jacket/cardigan as shown in the pictures below.

There is nothing worse than going through security with shoes that are impossible to take on and off. These adidas are so comfortable and super easy to take on and off!

I am wearing a size small in the leggings and the cardigan. I got the simple white tee in a size large for a more oversized look. To shop my entire look, click on the images below!

My number one rule regarding airport style is LAYERS! I don't know about y'all, but I get freezing while in airports and on planes! That extra jacket or cardigan can always be used as a makeshift blanket or pillow while you catch some zzz's in the air. Pictured below are a few of my favorite layering pieces to wear to the airport. Click on the images to shop!

Another crucial add-on for airport style is big sunglasses and hats!!! I never wear much makeup when flying and usually have an early flight, so i am most likely rolling out of bed with major bedhead to the airport. These sunglasses and baseball caps are a great way to hide those tired eyes (as well as let you get away with people watching) and bad hair days. Below are a few of my favorite looks for oversized sunnies from Diff Eyewear and Quay and some trendy baseball hats from Urban Outfitters. Click on the images to shop!

Last, but certainly not least, LEGGINGS! Leggings are such an awesome replacement for jeans when traveling. They are beyond comfortable and give you so much room to breathe, unlike those stiff skinny jeans sitting in your closet. I know we all own a pair of simple black leggings, but these Spanx leggings have changed my life. They are a bit expensive, but literally last forever and are such great quality. In the past, I used to just buy cheap leggings wherever I could find them, but they always ended up getting holes in them after only wearing them 4-5 times. Below are a few of my top picks from Spanx's website. Click on the images to shop your leggings of choice!

Safe travels!!!
